What is Trientael?

Trientael is the first story world I created. I have notebooks full of bits and pieces about it, files full of details, maps I've drawn, scenes I've written, but there's even more of it still in my head. Trientael itself is a coastal forest full of strange creatures: river cats, selkies, Elenali.

I've laid the stories aside, but I haven't forgotten them. Sairiniel is one of the most important characters, and one of my favorites: the red enchantress, the one who lost everything and saved the world. There's also Einna, without whom Sairiniel could have stayed a villain, and so many others that it's probably best if I just stop telling you.

It was a fun world to tell stories about, and it defines how I write even now. Hence the name of this blog. :)
